Using footage captured from the 2024 Darkfest MTB event, this is an example of editing existing footage into something new. The goal was to create a much darker aesthetic while integrating archival footage to demonstrate the progressive and record breaking endeavours. Footage was edited and colour graded to look like it was captured at night. IPhone footage captured over the course of the event was edited to simulate the look of Super 8 film to give a nostalgic, home video feel. This project was created to show a different, more cinematic side to the event and its riders.
